Day 1

·           Afternoon visit to Luxor and Karnak Temples

Day 2

 ·           Breakfast onboard

        ·           Luxor West Bank excursion - Visit the Valley of the  Kings, Colossi of Memnon and Hatchepsut Temple.  Please note when visiting the Valley of the Kings, entry to 3 tombs is included, however if you wish to see extra tombs like Tutankhamun or Ramses VI there is an additional ticket cost.

       ·           Lunch and afternoon tea onboard

       ·           Afternoon sailing, via Esna Lock to Edfu

                                              ·           Dinner and entertainment onboard

Day 3

    ·    Breakfast onboard

       ·    Visit Edfu Temple

       ·    Lunch onboard

       ·    Afternoon visit to Kom Ombo Temple

       ·    Evening sailing to Aswan

       ·    Dinner and entertainment onboard

 

Day 4

·           Breakfast onboard

       ·           Visit the High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple

       ·           Lunch onboard

       ·           Afternoon felucca sail around the islands of Aswan

       ·           Dinner and entertainment onboard

 

 

Day 5

·           Breakfast onboard

       ·           Morning free at leisure.  Make an optional visit to Abu Simbel Temples, the Nubian Museum or a typical Nubian Village.  There are additional costs for these excursions.

       ·           Lunch onboard

       ·           Afternoon sail to Edfu

       ·           Dinner and entertainment onboard

 

Day 6

·           Breakfast onboard

       ·           Sail to Esna Lock

       ·           Lunch onboard

       ·           Sail to Luxor

       ·           Dinner and entertainment onboard

 

 

Day 7

·           Breakfast onboard

       ·           Check out of cruise boat

       ·           Airport transfer

       ·           Guests may have lunch onboard, at an extra charge, or you may wish to eat in a local restaurant

       ·           The above programme may be changed without prior notice due to navigational circumstances.  The programme may change in sequence but not in visits.

 


Program inclusions:

·           Airport meet and greet.

·           Transportation to/from your cruise boat upon arrival and departure.

·           A licensed English speaking Egyptologist guide.

·           Entrance fees to sites as per itinerary.

·           Felucca ride.

·           Onboard evening entertainment.

·           All meals as per itinerary with Egyptian and Western dishes.  Vegetarian options are available.  Additional dietary requirements to be stated at time of booking.

 

Program exclusions:

·           Country entry visa.

·           Airfares and associated taxes.

·           Meals not listed in itinerary.

·           Alcoholic and soft drinks with meals.

·           Tipping for tour guides, cruise ship staff, drivers and temple guards.  Your guide may ask for approximately $15 USD per person (approx £10pp) for tips which will be divided between drivers, temple guards etc.  On a Nile cruise it is customary to tip only at the end of the cruise.  Sealable envelopes are usually provided for each person to tip staff and crew (this ensures that all the “behind the scenes” staff are not forgotten).  As a guideline $3 USD (approx. £2) per day per person is acceptable.  Please note that it is also customary to tip your guide at the end of your programme.
