Early morning pick up from your hotel in Sharm el Sheikh (approximately 3.30am). Drive through the Sinai desert to Taba on the Gulf of Aqaba where you will board a ferry to cross from Taba to Aqaba, Jordan. From Aqaba drive by air conditioned coach to Petra, arriving late morning.

Walk through the Siq or canyon which winds for over 1 kilometre between beautiful sandstone formations.  At the end of the ravine is a narrow opening, home to the spectacular Treasury, carved out of the side of the sandstone mountain face.

 

 

 

Roman theatre Petra from Sharm El Sheikh

Visit the Roman theatre which dates to the Byzantine era and the Royal tombs.

 

 

 

 

Al Habis Fort Petra from Sharm El SheikhAfter Lunch Visit the Al Habis Fort which dates back to the Crusaders. Here you have a breathtaking view of the coloured rock formations and deep gullies.

 

Drive to Aqaba for your ferry crossing to Taba where your coach will return you to your hotel in Sharm.

-    Pick up from your hotel will be at approximately 3:00 am.
