Our emphasis is on showing you all the diverse and colourful aspects of Egyptian life in all areas of society which you wouldn't experience from traditional tours.  You will experience many different social settings and get to see the real Egypt, the real people, the real way of life.

We will take you beyond the daily life into the homes and communities of the Egyptians.  You will be immersed into the community and its traditions.  See how they make a living and support their families, visit the workshops, farms and markets they operate.

Our guests will be supporting the communities while they participate in learning local trades such as harvesting, handicraft making etc.

Guests will get an understanding of family life and values and the strong ties between family members which is the foundation of communities and society. This is a true experience of learning and discovery of Egyptian culture, traditions and community life.

Day 1

  • Transfer by modern air conditioned van from Cairo to the nontouristic city Rosetta.
  • Check-in to hotel in Rosetta.
    - Three stars hotel in the city based on BB basis.
  • Lunch at the hotel.
  • City tour & excursions of Rosetta.
    - Visit the sights of Rosetta including the Rosetta National Museum, the Ottoman mosques, the Ottaman houses, the Qatibay Citadel of Rosetta. visit the spot where the River Nile meets the Mediteranian Sea and see the River Nile water lock of Edfina.
  • Home hosted dinner.
    - A highlight of your adventure is your home-hosted meal. This is a chance for you to meet people who call Egypt home, learn about their daily lives, and share a little of yourself. Our home hosted meals offer cultural exchange of the best kind, and there's no better way to get to know new Egyptian friends than over a home prepared meal of typical regional food.

    - It is customary, although not necessary, to return your host's generosity with a gift. Many guests like to bring along an easy-to-pack memento of their own hometown, perhaps a colourful t-shirt, a postcard book, or something for which your town or state is known. It's sure to bring a smile to your hosts, and it just might provide a springboard for great conversation.

Perhaps your tour days will synchronizes with a wedding in the village - what a great chance to see a real Egyptian wedding.

Day 2

  • Enjoy an unforgettable and unique day with a farmer.

    - Breakfast at the hotel.
    - Tranfser to a farm.
    - Spend all day at the farm.
    - Lunch to be offered by the farmer.
    - A lecture by your guide about the Egyptian traditions and customs. 

    - We never forget to make it unique and special for you:  try a donkey ride, a donkey and cart ride or ride a Tuk-Tuk (traditional Indian three wheel motorcycle) around the farms.

    - Transfer to the hotel and overnight.
    - Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3 

Live like a local

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Visit the local market.
    - The fish market is very unique and a great experience. You will have the chance to try out your bargaining skills as you will buy the items and ingredients for todays meal. What a great experince.
  • Go on a fishing tour on the River Nile.
  • Lunch:
    - Enjoy your freshly caught fish - let's hope the fish were biting!
  • Visit a handicraft workshop making boxes out of palm reeds.
  • Transfer back to the hotel for check-out.
  • Transfer to Cairo.
  • Flights can be arranged to other Egyptian cities if required.


Tour includes:
  • All transfers and luggage handling wherever you arrive and depart.
  • All transfers and sightseeing with modern air conditioned motor coach.
  • English speaking Egyptologist.
  • Visits as per program including entry fees.
  • 3 small bottles of water and 3 soft drinks at the van during the tour.
